This is a completely rotatable starter that will be able to crank your high performance AMC or Jeep motor. This Nippondenso powered starter has 2HP and a 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio. It will work just fine for engines with compression ratios up to 15:1. You can rotate the front housing 360 degrees to give you the clearance you need for headers, steering components,or special oil pans.
