Alternator power for your 6 Volt vehicle
You can now replace your old OEM 6 volt generator with a higher output alternator. These are available in either a positive or negative ground version (see our store for the positive ground version)
THIS LISTING IS FOR A NEGATIVE GROUND ALTERNATOR.
These alternators will provide 60 amp maximum with around 40 amp at idle, depending on your idle RPM. This is a 1 wire setup so there is no need to worry about wiring a regulator. Just one cable from the alternator's output post to the vehicle's battery and you are finished.

This listing is for a Negative Ground Alternator. This alternator comes supplied with a 2 1/4" diameter pulley for use with 3/8" wide belts. We have many other options available.
