This is aLate Model GM 300 Amp Alternator. We use GM's workhorse, the AD-244 series alternator, and build it to our specifications to provide you with the best output for your needs. (Also see our store listing for our200, and 250amp versions) We build these units to provide 160 amps at an idle. That's as much as the original units put out at high RPM. It will plug in to most OEM wiring harnesses for GM vehicles from 1996-2008.
It will be a direct fit replacement for the 105 and 135 amp factory alternators. This unit is great for applications requiring additional charging capacity such as auxiliary batteries, stereo systems, off-road lighting, etc.
