This is a Late Model GM 200 Amp replacement Alternator.
We use GM's workhorse, the AD-244 series style replacement alternator, and build it to our specifications to provide you with the best output for your needs. (Also see our store listing for our250, and 300amp versions) We build these units to provide 135 amps at an idle. That's as much as the original units put out at high RPM. It will plug in to most OEM wiring harnesses for GM vehicles from 1996-2008.
These units will directly replace the small case 105A units found on many vehicles and will also replace the Bosch units found on GM trucks. It is also a great replacement for the stock large case 135 ampunit as a high output upgrade.
This unit is great for applications requiring additional charging capacity such as auxiliary batteries, stereo systems, off-road lighting, etc.
